Support

Bipolar and Depression Support

Support is the second most important determinant for success besides your own hard work. Support comes in many ways; professional support, medicine, support groups, friends and family, and peer support by those who understand the condition and have it under control.

An important area of support is advocacy. Traditionally, advocacy means to support education and awareness of mental health issues while attempting to influence public policy. While this type of advocacy is important, advocacy at the individual level is often left out. Our Personal Advocate Program is geared toward individuals.

Peer Counseling is another important and emerging field. Our peer counselors are certified by Bipolar Advantage to work closely with your professional team.

Support Groups can be a tremendous resource. Our certified facilitators run support groups geared toward success.
